Description: HippoCampus, a project of the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education (MITE), seeks to provide “high-quality, multimedia content on general education subjects to high school and college students.” This course, Advanced Placement Calculus AB I, is part one of a two semester course and contains study materials, lessons, and textbooks to help students prepare for the College Board AP Calculus AB exam. Two course units, containing 14 lessons, cover a multitude of topics such as: differential equations, derivatives, antiderivatives, trigonometric functions, and definite integrals among others. This is an excellent self-paced tool for students to use while preparing for the AP Calculus exam, or as supplementary material for a calculus course.
