Description: This interactive Java applet from the University of Wisconsin-Madison demonstrates the effect of changing tornado variables. By adjusting funnel width and core pressure difference, the user can produce tornadoes of different intensities and see their effects. After the tornado has blown over, users are asked to choose the intensity rating for the tornado on the EF-scale.
