Description: This webpage offers a doctoral dissertation, which discusses underlying concepts commonly used by students when gathering and analyzing data. The project's goal is for students to use these concepts to analyze data in an appropriate manner. The researcher developed a multiple-choice survey which asked students to analyze data from a hypothetical lab context. Using this survey the researcher found more students using range to compare data sets after the SCL.
