Title: Teaching Bayesian Reasoning in Less Than Two Hours PDF
Url: https://www.apa.org/pubs/journals/releases/xge-1303380.pdf
Creator: Gigerenzer, Gerd
Sedlmeier, Peter
Publisher: American Psychological Association
Description: This journal article, created by Gerd Gigerenzer and Peter Sedlmeier, respectively of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development and Chemnitz University of Technology, describes a set of experiments in which different methods of teaching Bayes' Theorem were compared to each other. The frequency representation of the rule was found to be easier to learn than the probability representation. This is a fairly large piece of work, nearly twenty-two pages in length, and it covers many different aspects of this topic. The authors use charts, graphs and mathematical formulas to help establish their points. This is a good article for instructors of statistics.
