Title: CUSUM: Computer Simulation for Statistics Teaching
Url: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1467-9639.1980.tb003...
Creator: Moore, J.L.
Thomas, F.H.
Publisher: Royal Statistical Society (Great Britain)
Description: The use of computers for simulation can be used not only to introduce CUSUM (cumulative sum) techniques but also to improve students' understanding of statistical inference and decision making. This article describes the use of CUSUM (1977). The authors first provide an outline, the target population, the aims, an example, time required, a summary and external references. This is a nice lesson plan for instructors wanting to focus on statistical inference and simulation.
