Description: The Conference Board of the Mathematical Sciences (CBMS) is an umbrella organization consisting of seventeen professional societies with a primary objective of increasing the diffusion of knowledge in one or more of the mathematical sciences. On their homepage, those interested in CBMS or Mathematics will find several interesting links. First, the book "Mathematical Education of Teachers" is available free via html or pdf download. Visitors can also find written versions of talks and working group presentations from the National Summit on the Mathematical Education of Teachers Conference. Also available for free download is the CBMS Statistical Abstract of Undergraduate Programs in the Mathematical Sciences in the U.S., which can be downloaded in its entirety or by chapter.
