Title: Charged Particle in Capacitor
Url: http://canu.ucalgary.ca/map/content/energy/work_kinetic/simulate/elfie...
Publisher: University of Calgary
Description: In this interactive simulation, the path of a charged particle in a capacitor can be traced. Users may adjust the strength of field, initial velocity and mass of the moving particle, and magnitude of its charge. The simulated path can be viewed in continuous or step mode, with or without a vector display of the position, velocity, acceleration, or force. Also available for display are bar graphs depicting kinetic and potential energy. This item is part of a larger collection of physics simulations sponsored by the MAP project (Modular Approach to Physics).
