The Universal Chalcidoidea Database contains an extensive set of taxonomic and bibliographic records, as well as nearly 400 photos of living chalcidoids. Users will also find a key to chalcidoid families, information on collecting and preserving specimens, and a brief overview of this extremely diverse yet poorly understood group of wee wasps, which includes the world's smallest adult insect -- measuring in at a mere 0.11 mm.
