In partnership with HIT Lab US, based at the University of Washington and industry, the group conducts human-computer interface research and develops technology that can be utilized in areas such as education, medicine, scientific visualization, telecommunications and entertainment. The website describes their various projects, "all of which are centred on the theme of enhancing face to face and remote collaboration." Numerous research papers are available online and cover topics such as teleconferencing, gaming, and Augmented Reality. A quarterly newsletter provides updates on projects and lab news.
