Title: ABC's of Nuclear Science
Url: https://www2.lbl.gov/abc/Basic.html
Publisher: Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Nuclear Science Division
Description: Produced by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the ABC's of Nuclear Science site gives high school students and perhaps even entry level college students a good general overview of nuclear science. Through descriptions and illustrations, students get to explore nuclear structure; radioactivity; alpha, beta, and gamma decay; half-life; reactions; fusion; fission; cosmic rays; and antimatter. Although only a one-page lesson (except for the antimatter link), the site offers clickable definitions of various words and helpful diagrams that enhance the user's learning experience.
