This site, from the Viticulture and Enology Science and Technology Alliance, offers presentations and slides from the lectures of VIN 130, New Wine Business Feasibility with Ian MacNeil. VIN 130 contains nine lectures: "Enterprise and Resource Planning (ERP) Systems," "Financial Planning & Forecasting," "Identification of Past and Present Wine Business Models," "Identifying Business Stakeholders and Their Needs," "Methods of Financing," "The Models of Success," "The Role of Marketing in Strategic Wine Business Planning (Parts 1 and 2)," and "The Top Three Financial Performance Indicators (KPI's)." These lectures range from four to 48 minutes each, and give an overview of the many aspects of entrepreneurship in the complex field of winemaking, including producing a strategic plan. Each topic includes a multimedia presentation of the lecture, with slides. Users must have Microsoft's Silverlight installed to view the presentations.
