Description: This lesson plan from ATEEC will instruct students on the principles of recycling waste stream reduction. The activity would be most appropriate for technology studies or high school science classes. In all, it would require two hours of class time and about one hour for a field trip activity. The purpose of the lesson is to create a display in a grocery store to show people how to reduce the amount of trash generated by their individual household.
