Url: http://ateec.org/longitudinal-study
Publisher: Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center
Description: This page provides a problem-based activity that exposes conflicting views of environmental issues. The class will choose a local stream, river or lake to study. Students will use water testing equipment, evaluate the health of the body of water and determine if there have been positive or negative changes in the body's quality over time. The activity should take one day in the field and one day to one week to process and analyze the data. This resource is free to download.
