In this virtual field trip, students learn about the process of oil refining and pose the question to students of alternative sources of fuel. Take a trip to the Petrostar Oil Refinery near the North Pole in Alaska. Learn how oil is refined and discover where oil is refined all around the world. Includes video of a tour taken at the refinery along with questions geared towards critical thinking. This resource is free to download.
