Description: Developed and maintained by Purdue's Online Writing Lab (OWL) this very useful portion of the larger OWL site focuses on professional and business writing. The site is divided topically focusing on resumes and job search writing, general business writing, letters, memos and reports. In each of these section users will find tips and pointers as well as examples which showcase best practices when crafting letters, reports or other materials. A very useful section for educators is a selection of Power-point presentations, along with handouts, which address a number of business writing topics. Another very nice feature are the OWL online workshops, which walk users through a series of links and pages to help support the creation of writing resumes, cover letters and research reports.
