Description: The Materials Science and Technology Teacher's Workshop (MAST) provides this experiment on the reactivity of metals. The module will help illustrate the chemistry of metals and how metals are used together to prevent corrosion.

The lesson includes a step by step explanation of the laboratory procedure, discussion questions and teacher notes. The exercise should take about 30 minutes of class time to complete.
