Description: This learning activity from the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center (ATEEC) will provide students with the opportunity to analyze water quality in their local area. Students will place glass slides in several water sites 2 weeks prior to investigation, collect samples and analyze the water's quality. The lesson (separate from fieldwork) should take about 3 class periods to complete.
