Description: This is an oceanography education journal consisting of current oceanography research conducted at NASA by NASA, NOAA, and university researchers and educators. This journal is a collection of articles, classroom activities, readings, teacher/student questions, imagery and much more designed for the grade 9-12 biology/environmental/earth science classroom. There is nothing out there like it and since we do a great deal of oceanographical research at Goddard Space Flight Center and the Wallops Flight Facility, we thought who better to put this together then our Hydrospheric and Biospheric Sciences Laboratory. We also have an accompanying web site that will eventually contain all the journal information, as well as future instrument data that can be scaled to the university level.
