Description: This is an update to the original Fujita Scale for wind speeds and tornado damage. The Enhanced F-scale uses three-second gusts estimated at the point of damage based on a judgment of 8 levels of damage to the 28 indicators, which consist of buildings and objects such as trees and light poles.
