The Sanctuary Integrated Monitoring Network, also known as SiMoN, has launched a new photo database containing 1,200 digital images of species, habitats, locations, and issues of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Use the search options to find photos of interest. Users can browse thumbnails of images and download a high resolution version for educational purposes. In addition, information and photographs are available for Hawaii, American Samoa’s Sanctuary, Biological Resources of Cordell Bank, and the Channel Islands along with charts and bathymetric data for marine sanctuaries.
