Description: With 7,000 members located across the world, the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) is an organization that promotes and encourages research and education in all branches of horticultural science. Some of the materials on their site are only available to dues-paying members, but there are a few free highlights here. First, visitors may want to look over the "Publications" area. Here visitors can look over summaries of the major journals in the field, and also make their way through a set of links to relevant online publications. Also, the "News" area contains important updates from the field of horticulture, and there's also a RSS feed here. Persons already in the field will appreciate the job listings that can be searched in the "Jobs" section.
