Description: This webpage provides access to weekly Harmful Algal Bloom bulletins that are generated for the Gulf of Mexico by the NOAA Coastwatch Program, the National Ocean Service and the National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service. These bulletins provide notification of bloom conditions to state and local coastal managers in the Gulf of Mexico and include maps with information on wind conditions, chlorophyll levels, and potential or actual bloom events.
