Title: Periodic Motion - The Pendulum
Url: https://smileprogram.info/ph95p3.html
Creator: Lojkutz, Deborah
Publisher: Joliet West High School
Description: Simply in design, this lesson plan was created by Deborah Lojkutz of Joliet West High School, the objective of this activity is to teach students the concept of periodic motion and relate it to the movement of a pendulum. Students use different sized, colored bobs to test the effect of amplitude on period. The plan is structured in this manner: objectives, needed materials, strategy, conclusion and an overall evaluation. This is a nice lesson plan for physics instructors looking for a thorough lesson plan on this topic. A link is provided to additional lesson plans.
