A City of Renewable Energy
This resource, created by Afton Nance Dean and Shanna Shocklee of Red Rocks Community College, will invite students to consider how to choose the best renewable resources to run a city. Through this endeavor, students will learn the cost/benefit of replacing non-renewable resources with renewable resources. The activity will require between one and three class periods and computer access. This four page pdf document contains questions for the students to consider, directions for the teacher, and a rubric for grading.
