Title: WFU Physics Demo Video: Floating Ping Pong Ball
Url: https://old.physics.wfu.edu/demolabs/demos/2/2c/2C2030.html
Creator: Matthews, G. Eric
Publisher: Wake Forest University
Description: This video demonstrates that a ping pong ball can "float" on a stream of air. The air rushing around the ball creates a pressure low enough to lift and support the ball, even when the ball is not directly over the air source. As long as the low pressure spot is under the center of mass of the ball, it will stay "afloat". This is part of a collection of demonstration videos put together by the physics department at Wake Forest University.
