Title: Mouse Experiment
Url: https://www.causeweb.org/cause/archive/mouse_experiment/
Publisher: Consortium for the Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education
Description: This Flash based applet simulates data from a case study of treatments for tumor growth in mice. This simulation allows the user to place mice into a control and treatment groups. The simulation then compares the difference in the groups based on this haphazard selection to those of a truly random assignment. The mice then undergo a virtual "raspberry treatment" where they will be given a diet of this fruit to see if it hampers tumor growth. This is a nice interactive activity which demonstrates aspects of clinical testing and selection methods.
