Url: http://www.montereyinstitute.org/courses/AP%20Physics%20C%20II/nroc%2...
Publisher: Monterey Institute for Technology and Education
Description: Presented by HippoCampus, a project of the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education, this free online course covers all of the material outlined by the College Board as necessary to prepare students to pass the AP Physics C exam. This course is divided into two semesters and this course is the second of those two semesters and is designed to acquaint you with topics in mechanics and classical electricity and magnetism. The first semester is devoted to Newtonian mechanics including: kinematics, laws of motion, work and energy, systems of particles, momentum, circular motion, oscillations, and gravitation. The second semester discusses the topics of electricity and magnetism. Each unit with in the course has objectives, readings, lessons, response and discussion questions, as well as lab exercises. The site is also indexed by subject, which can be browsed alphabetically or sequentially. It is a great place for students to enhance their skills in physics or for educators to find supplementary materials for the classroom.
