Publisher: Monterey Institute for Technology and Education
Description: Presented by HippoCampus, a project of the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education, this free online course is designed to acquaint visitors with "calculus principles such as derivatives, integrals, limits, approximation, and applications and modeling." This section is the first of a two-semester Introductory Calculus course and contains four units: Functions and Graphs, Limits and Continuity, Derivatives, and Applications of the Derivative. Each unit has seven to nine lessons, each with readings, a multimedia lecture, and an assessment with answers. The site also lists all the topics covered, indexed in both alphabetical and sequential order. It's a great place for students to get extra help in calculus and for instructors to find lecture and test materials for the classroom.
