Description:
This activity is concerned with the magnetic field generated by a current-carrying wire. Two current-carrying wires are placed near each other as forces push them apart or pull them together. Materials needed, assembly, an explanation of resluts, and links to related activities from the Exploratorium are also given. This activity is part of Exploratorium's Science Snacks series.
