Publisher: Shadow a Swan Project
Description: ExplorA-Pond is an online opportunity for collaborative science among classrooms from around the world. Classrooms that register with the site can adopt a local pond and submit the results of one or more of the Pond Activities/ Lesson Plans. Regardless of whether your classroom chooses to register, the activities and lesson plans designed for K-6th graders provide a hands-on approach to science and math lessons. A virtual pond option is even provided in the event that it is impractical for classrooms to visit and survey a real local pond.
