Url: http://www.crito.uci.edu/tlc/html/tlc_home.html
Publisher: University of California, Irvine.
Description: A research project of the Center for Research on Information Technology and Organizations (CRITO) at the University of California, Irvine, this extensive survey study has produced several reports on the application of instructional technology. The third in the series was posted in December; Teacher and Teacher-Directed Student Use of Computers and Software provides data on classroom computer use, types of systems and software used, learning skills taught, computer-use preferences by instructors's subjects, and more. Previous reports examined teacher-to-teacher pedagogical development via email and contrasting philosophies among teachers regarding the Internet. Three other special reports are also available on-site as well as statistical "snapshots" of relevant data. The site also boasts links to related conferences, a newsletter and discussion forum, a description of study methodology, and future topics.
