Description: The Materials Science and Technology Teacher's Workshop (MAST) provides this experiment on forming low temperature glass. The module will allow students the chance to form low temperature glass and test for electrical conductivity.

The lesson includes a step by step explanation of the laboratory procedure. Several links to video clips are also provided. The exercise is divided into three parts; each part should take anywhere from 20-50 minutes to complete.
