Title: Satellite Meteorology: GOES Channel Selection v.2

Description: This learning module from the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research will help students learn more about satellite meteorology. Users will be led through a pre-assessment survey which will help them to see which areas they should focus on as they complete the module. Once users begin the actual training module, they will observe a variety of interactive demonstrations on areas of the topic including visible reflectances, shortwave infared, water vapor and longwave infared. A print version, glossary, quiz and user survey are also available on the site. Users must create a free log-in in order to view or utilize the site.
