Description: Teachers' Domain presents this interactive, adapted from the Dolan DNA Learning Center, to help students learn about DNA Libraries, "the tools scientists use to store and reproduce genetic information that they can later access for their research." After an introduction, students can explore more about the different types of DNA libraries by clicking on any of the five DNA vectors: Yeast Artificial Chromosomes, Bacterial Artificial Chromosomes, Cosmids, Bacteriophage Lambda, and Plasmids. On the site, visitors will also find a supplemental background essay, discussion questions, and standards alignment from Teachers' Domain.
