Description:
The Live Access Server (LAS) is a highly configurable Web server designed to provide flexible access to geo-referenced scientific data. The Live Access Server provides visualizations and subsettings of multi-dimensional scientific data for Web users. LAS enables the Web user to visualize data with on-the-fly graphics, request and download custom subsets of variables in a choice of file formats, and compare (difference) variables from distributed locations. The Live Access Server can be used to generate ascii microsets of real NASA data that can be incorporated into classroom lessons and activities.
