The US Partnership on Education sponsors the Higher Education Associations Sustainability Consortium that works to “help higher education exert strong leadership in making education, research, and practice for a sustainable society a reality.” This project promotes sharing knowledge, information, and sustainability efforts among its members, and supports professional development in sustainability. Membership is available, and there is information on the website regarding it, but even without membership there is plenty of helpful information here. There are archives of HEASC newsletters, a resource page, and an events page for the teacher, student, worker, or environmentally conscious citizen to stay up to date on the latest sustainability information.
