The site provides four different tutorials designed to introduce students or educators to the concepts of geographic information systems (GIS) as it relates to watersheds. These resources focus on water quality exceedance maps, use of interactive mapping applications, data query tools, general GIS data and more frequently asked questions on the topic. The page breaks down into four main categories that include maps, data, education and project information. A handful of subtopics are featured under each.
