Description: MIT Environmental Technology and Policy Program has participated in a diversity of environmental projects in the U.S. state of Wisconsin affecting the environment. Each case has utilized an innovative form of public policy. Cases including enhancing the sustainability of the Wisconsin dairy industry, promoting citizen's voluntary environmental behavior through ecoteams, mapping of the City of Milwaukee to promote sustainable transportation, using a virtual company to reduce benzene emissions, and instituting a program that rewards organizations for advancing beyond current environmental regulations.
