Title: Curriculum Reform Across the First Two Years (CRAFTY)

Description: A series of eleven disciplinary workshops known as the Curriculum Foundations Project was held as part of a major review of undergraduate programs in mathematics by the Mathematics Association of America (MAA). The goal of each workshop was to obtain a clear, concise statement of what students in that area need to learn in their first two years of college mathematics. The MAA's Committee on the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics (CUPM) studied the undergraduate curriculum, taking into account the views of a broad segment of the mathematics community and its partner disciplines. The result is the Curriculum Reform and the First Two Years (CRAFTY) Curriculum Foundations Project: Voices of the Partner Disciplines, a report meant to contribute to the foundational materials from which recommendations for the first two years of college mathematics will be constructed. This report is intended to assist mathematics departments as they plan their programs through the first decade of the 21st century.
