Title: The Museum of Broadcast Communications
Url: https://www.museum.tv
Publisher: Museum of Broadcast Communications
Description: The Museum of Broadcast Communications (MBC) is one of only three broadcast museums in America and home to the nations only Radio Hall of Fame. Their mission is "to collect, preserve, and present historic and contemporary radio and television content as well as educate, inform, and entertain through our archives, public programs, screenings, exhibits, publications and online access to our resources." The site includes online resources such as their civil rights collection which contains over 217 radio and television
programs documenting the struggle for civil rights. The site also provides "Docufest" which requires a free registration but is well worth the extra effort. This valuable resource is meant to incorporate the MBC Archives into classrooms by providing online access to documentaries and then providing corresponding classroom activities. This site is a great resource for teachers as well as students researching historical radio and television events.
