Description: The museum website at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising offers information on their current in situ exhibitions, the site also offers online exhibits for those unable to travel to the museum. Selecting 'Online Exhibits' from their museum & galleries menu will bring you to a menu of currently available online galleries. As of summer 2006, this list includes exhibits of motion picture costume design and an exhibition of the fashion used in Star Wars, to name a few. The site also has a section dedicated to "Educators", it should be noted that in order to access the educator resources registration is required, but free.
