Title: Welcome to the Gemini Observatory
Url: http://www.gemini.edu/sciops/releases
Creator: Michaud, Peter
Publisher: Gemini Observatory
Description: This site covers many aspects of the Gemini Observatory. It discusses where it is located, what it observes, what pictures it takes, and certain issues that pertain to it. In addition, it allows users to take a virtual tour of the campus. In a Quicktime format, a 360 degree picture is taken of the observatory and the surrounding landscape. Users can virtually move about and see the impressive, and the impressively beautiful, landscape. The site also provides links to newsletters, press releases and the clips of the observatory in the news. This is a nice look at the different goals and features of a prominent observatory.
