Description: Nature is a weekly international journal that publishes articles on all scientific topics. Although the journal itself is only available with a subscription, Nature’s weekly podcast series is completely free for anyone with Internet access. Topics of the podcasts vary from stem cells to Saturn, and include some of the content from that week’s edition of Nature. The podcasts are always available in audio MP3 files, and the text of the transcript can also be downloaded. If you are new to these podcasts, be sure to check out the archives dating back to 2005 for interesting episodes you might have missed. Podcasts are accompanied by a discussion blog that lets you comment on the issues in each weekly installment. The issues presented in the podcasts are interesting and diverse. This is a great resource for students, teachers, parents, and everyone with an interest in science.
