Contact a node in your area, or an astronomy organization (science museum or planetarium) and check out IYA2009’s descriptions of available projects online to see what great opportunities are available. Make sure to look at the "Resources" tab for books, DVDs, and posters for classrooms. This is a great resource for astronomy teachers to help get students interested and excited about astronomy.
