Beginning with the September-October 1999 issue, the electronic version of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Journal of Research will be available in .pdf format. The journal contains current NIST research in the areas of physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and computer sciences. "Papers cover a broad range of subjects, with major emphasis on measurement methodology and the basic technology underlying standardization." With archives dating back to 1995, the site is capable of full-text searching.
