Description:
A program that challenges participants to combine knowledge learned in school with an awareness of current events, a curiosity about the business and economic environment, and an interest in managing money. Participants learn how financial markets work and how capital is raised to fund business growth. Participants in all grade levels, post-secondary and college students, adults, and organizations work in teams to research companies and invest a hypothetical $100,000 in common stock, preferred stock, and mutual funds listed on the NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ.
