Description:
This laboratory exercise will help instructors explain the particulars of designing composite sandwich panels, which are used in a variety of applications like surfboards, wake boards and corrugated cardboard. The experiment is explained step by step; this document will serve as a framework for instructors and may be downloaded in PDF format. The exercise would be appropriate for grades 4 through 12. It should take anywhere from one to three hours to complete.
