The Chaos Center at the Visual Math Institute

This site, created by Ralph H. Abraham and the Visual Math Institute, provides visual resources for learning chaos theory, fractal geometry, and complexity.

In November 2013 we have added two new features:

  • The Chaos Movie Theater
Here we are posting short movies with sound tracks of the classical chaotic attractors and their bifurcations, for flows (continuous dynamical systems).
  • The Fractal Note Gallery
Here we are posting still images and short animations of the historical chaotic attractors and their bifurcations for iterations (discrete dynamical systems).
