The ESO IMAGING SURVEY PROJECT

All EIS data delivered through the ESO Archive is copyrighted by ESO, 1998-2003. The observations have been carried out using the NTT, the MPG/ESO 2.2m telescope at the La Silla observatory, and the VLT at the Paranal observatory. All data products have been produced by the EIS project team.

Note: Unless stated otherwise, the distribution of all imaging data is restricted to astronomers affiliated to institutions in one of the ESO member states or Chile, for a period of one year. Catalogs are available worldwide.

If the data or part of it is used or shown publicly please give proper acknowledgment to the EIS project by referring to the relevant EIS publications.

If EIS images from the EIS-WIDE release are used, please give also the following acknowledgment:

"Observations have been carried out using the ESO New Technology Telescope (NTT) at the La Silla observatory under Program-ID Nos. 59.A-9005(A) and 61.A-9005(A)"

If EIS images from the EIS-DEEP release are used, please give also the following acknowledgment:

If EIS images from the Pilot Survey release are used, please give also the following acknowledgment:

If EIS images from the Deep Public Survey release are used, please give also the following acknowledgment:

If EIS images from the GOODS Survey release are used, please give also the following acknowledgment:

Imaging data from the GOODS release is immediately available world-wide.
If EIS images from the Pre-FLAMES Survey release are used, please give also the following acknowledgment:
"Observations have been carried out using the MPG/ESO 2.2m Telescope at the La Silla observatory under Program-ID No. 164.O-0561"
