Description: The Manufacturing & Engineering Technologies Clearinghouse is a “searchable database of materials submitted by educators from around the world. Topics covered include classroom content and pedagogy.” The clearinghouse allows visitors to browse and search peer-reviewed materials for manufacturing and engineering technology education. The materials are abstracted and linked, and topics include Quality Management, Production and Inventory Control, and Technical Mathematics among many others. New materials are added continually so be sure to check the site often for new resources. METEC houses the resource collections of two previous ATE Resource Centers: the Manufacturing Education Resource Center (MERC) and the National Engineering Technology Education Clearinghouse (NETEC). METEC a service of the National Center for Manufacturing Education and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
